SPRING BREAK
Spring is here and it's time for a break. There will be no school April 2-6. Please be safe if you are traveling. If you're staying in town, we want you to be safe as well. Consider doing some things around town if you'll be here. Atlanta offers so many things for families. Click the link below to see some of the things that you can do around town. Don't forget to have some fun!
We did it again!
Guess who has been recognized for their significant progress in improving achievement gaps in K-12 Title I schools for a 2nd year in a row? None other than Shiloh Middle! We are the only Gwinnett County Title I middle school who made the list of High Progress Reward Schools! Way to go Shiloh!
Shiloh Family Fun and Fitness Day
If you haven't been to Shiloh Family Fun and Fitness Day, then you are really missing out. We have trainers here to teach you about fitness while having some fun. Don't miss this FREE opportunity to spend some work out time with your family.
Cell Phone/Device Usage
The expectation at Shiloh Middle is that all cell phones and devices be kept inside of the student's backpack. All backpacks should be keep on the bag hooks in the classroom or other teacher designated area. Students should not have a cell phone/devices on their person while in the classroom, cafeteria, or bathroom. All cell phones/devices should remain inside of a backpack during transition. Any student that does not adhere to these expectations will have their cell phone/device confiscated. Parents will have to come to the school to retrieve confiscated cell phones/devices from an administrator. Students will be permitted to use cell phones/devices during class for instructional purposes only. Thank you for your support in our effort to keep all students focused on academics.
To ALL students
Our 8th grade gifted students are using their talents to assist their peers with math. Peer 2 Peer Math Tutoring is offered on Tuesday and Thursday from 8:15-9:00 for 8th grade students.
What to do if you have a concern.
