SCC MISSIONS
October Newsletter
Thanks for your interest in the SCC Missions Ministry. Please take some time to read through the brief articles and watch the videos from this month's newsletter. Our hope is that you have a better idea how to pray for our missions involvement and that your love for seeing the Gospel spread across the globe will dramatically increase!

WHATS NEW?!
Visit from Pastor Sasha
SCC has been in partnership with Moldova for Christ for over 10 years. Starting with an initial connection on a mission trip taken by Nola Kilgore, the relationship has developed into something that is long lasting and full of spiritual fruit. Pastor Sasha was recently here to connect with friends, give updates, and visit the missions team. It was great to see and hear what the Lord has been doing in Moldova.
SCC Bus to Teen Challenge
On Sept 22, two leaders from Teen Challenge of SWFL stopped by to pick up the SCC church bus! With the missions team contributing $5,000 to help Teen Challenge with the purchase, the ministry now owns a much needed vehicle to transport the men and women to and from the center! Praise the Lord in how He connects the Body of Christ!
Over $5,000 for Verity
Pastor Shelton golfed 80 holes in the Verity Golfing Marathon this past month. In an effort to raise funds for the ministry, the event was a huge success in battling abortion! Pastor Shelton raised over $5,000 for the cause and had an awesome time at the event.
For the month of Sept, the SCC body met every Wed for LIFE (Loving Intergenerational Fellowship Experience) from 4:00-7:00. On the final meeting, we put together care packages for our member missionaries in the cross-cultural mission field. We will be mailing the packages by the end of this week!
FROM THE FIELD
SCC Missions Ministry is in strong relationship with over 19 Mission Partners in the field. These families and organizations are on the front lines of ministry- working daily for the cause of Christ. Check out the following video updates from a few of our partners.
Ft. Myers Rescue Mission
The heart of Local Missions partner, the Ft Myers Rescue Mission, is to reach the downtrodden and needy in the downtown area of Ft Myers. SCC has been in partnership with the rescue mission for over a decade. Check out this video from Rev. Wooten.

Munther Shahatit
Munther is a counselor and powerful minister that the Lord has used to reach Christians and non-Christians all over the Middle East. With a gentle and sincere heart, Munther has seen many come to Christ and many deepen their walk with Him. Pray for Munther and his family as they are active in a very dangerous part of the world.
