ADW ED TECH-ER
Information & Resources from the ADW Director for Ed Tech
Fun Fact About Black History Month!
Cognia STEM Certification is designed to recognize STEM schools of distinction that have made a commitment to preparing students for progressively rigorous levels of learning and life. During our information session, we will discuss the distinction between STEM schools and schools engaging in STEM activities, as well as the foundational elements of building a STEM culture. We will also unpack Cognia’s STEM Standard framework and provide an overview of the certification process and requirements for schools and programs seeking STEM certification. Participants are invited to bring their questions regarding STEM implementation, STEM certification, and other topics associated with transforming the teaching and learning culture in schools. Participants will leave with complete information for Cognia STEM Certification, and understanding of the tools and resources provided to support STEM applicant institutions, and information to share with community stakeholders.
