Mrs. Lyons' Class Week 14
Math, Science, Social Studies
November 16th - 20th
We will be practicing for our performance and will be working on Thanksgiving lessons and activities. Our performance will be at 9:00 on Thursday in the chapel. You can send your child to school already dressed for the performance. They can remain in their costume for the rest of the day if they wish to do so. You can send a uniform clothing for a change if they prefer to change.
I have seen a few photos of the costumes already and I am so impressed! I cannot wait to see everyone dressed up! Every student knows his/her part! We are just working on speaking volume now. Students will need to speak loudly to be heard.
Thanks to Mrs. Cain for offering to send beef jerky and to Mrs. Racer for sending dried fruit for our Mayflower Menu on Thursday.
Thursday also happens to be our 66th day of school, the length of time the pilgrims spent on their journey to America! What a perfect time to have our performance and Mayflower Menu!
If you would like to help, we could still use 2 containers of blue cheese! (Or another kind of moldy tasting cheese!)
Please help first grade win the Altitude Party by donating ANY amount to the annual fundraiser going on now! Be sure to write FIRST GRADE on the memo section of your check! Lets show what first grade can do!
