Quinn and I
By Oscar Roden
As thoughtless as a man after Thanksgiving
As truly noncaring as a high school dropout
Yet we are the same, more than not
Quinn and I are as similar as the floor and ground
Grunting is thank you
Even that is a stretch
If you get a reaction from us
You've done your best
We can run away faster than you can say STOP!
And finding us may take more than 5 minutes, or not?
After all, we are wolves hungry for attention
When we try to get too much we end up in detention
In the end we break down and ask for your help
Because we always thought it was worse on this side
You dealing with us, we thank you for that
And now you can go back to saving us and our hat
