9:00-1:00 @ Mayo's House, lunch provided (12808 Elgin in Bella Mia)
1:00-4:00 @ Band Hall, working on moving back in :)
What do I need to know for Summer Band?
- EVERYONE is starting on Monday, July 31st, not just Freshmen!
- Please check out all the information below.
- Bring both your concert instrument and marching instrument. Don't forget any accessories you need (reeds, oil, etc.). If you haven't been checked out an instrument, you will get one on the first day of band.
- BRING A PENCIL.
- Wear athletic clothing and marching shoes. We will be working out! Athletic shoes are okay if you don't have marching shoes yet.
- Bring a water cooler (your red one if you have it, any cooler will work on day one until you get your band cooler), a hat or sunglasses, sunscreen and bug spray, and anything else you might need for our evenings outside.
- Bring something to keep all of your music and papers in. This could be a folder or binder. You will be receiving a TON of music, so keep it organized.
Needed Equipment for Summer Band (More info to come)
- Instrument
- Flip Folder (Can be purchased at Tarpley's Music, or on Tarpley's Day)
- Marching Shoes (Will be purchased on Tarpley's Day)
- Pencil and folder or binder
- Red cooler- bring yours from previous years or purchase a new one directly from Mrs. Baxter. ($6)
