Mrs. McCoy's Message

Dear Parents and Guardians,

As we come to the close of another academic year, I wanted to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your continued support. It has been a year filled with faith and growth and I appreciate your commitment to our shared mission. Your contributions, whether through volunteering, attending school events, or openly communicating with our faculty and staff, have greatly enriched the educational experience of all of our students.

I am also grateful for our faculty and staff. They have exemplified the spirit of service and commitment to excellence that is the foundation of a Catholic education. Their enthusiasm, expertise and tireless efforts have nurtured the minds, hearts and spirits of our students. Through their dedication, they have created a safe and nurturing environment where each child has been given the opportunity to flourish and reach their full potential. We are who we are because of them!

As with any organization, change is an inevitable part of growth and development. It is with a heavy heart that we bid farewell to the following staff and faculty members:

Susan Lang - MS Language Arts

Adrienne Williams - Computer Teacher

Ayn Glassco - Teacher’s Aide

Kim Roberts - Speech Pathologist

Alexa Landerville - Cafeteria

Janet Leeper - Cafeteria

Their impact on the lives of our students will be forever cherished and we are grateful for the countless ways they have touched the hearts of our school community.

Susan will not be leaving us entirely. She will be one of our Title I Tutors. Adrienne has taken another teaching position in a different subject area. Ayn and Kim were funded by EANS, which unfortunately will no longer be available. Alexa and Janet are both retiring. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors! We will be having an Open House on Thursday, May 25th from 1:30 - 3:00. You are welcome to stop by and wish them well!

The staff and faculty were treated to a car detail for Teachers’ Appreciation Week. It was an absolutely amazing gift! Thank you to the following donors for sponsoring one or more cars: Meg Scalet Wilson (4), Jamie and Carol Williams (3), Alisha Deao (3), Jen Kerckhoff (2), O’Brien Family (4), PK Mitchell parents (2), Paola Ferrell, (2), Septiano Family (3), Norrid Family (2), Kimberly Burton, Quannah Boswell, Andre Family (2), Angie Rambo (2), Michael Brennan, Patrick Deao and Nick Clark. Our sponsors were extremely generous and we are very grateful!

We thank you Lord, for this school year. For the challenges, the successes and the mistakes from which we have learned. Be with us as we spend our time with family and friends. Give us strength and courage to do what is right: to be witness to our faith. Help us to appreciate what others do for us, to give time and effort to help others. To be peacemakers in our family. Keep us safe in our activities; give us good rest and good fun. Bring us back refreshed and ready for a new term. We thank you for our classmates, teachers, parents and the community that cares for us. May we always be conscious of you in our lives. Amen

Have a wonderful summer!

All Things in Christ,
Heidi McCoy

Graduation Mass, May 28th 10:30am & 5pm Masses

The month of May holds many opportunities for celebrations and honoring those we love.

No doubt, Graduations are a big part of that.

In our Catholic Faith we support each other in prayer and many times offer God's blessings to those who are beginning a new phase of their life. Graduations are no different.

On Sunday May 28th, at the 10:30am and 5:00pm Masses, we will be recognizing and honoring those who are graduating from Middle School, High School, College, and Technical School this year.

All Graduates are welcome to the Masses, no matter where they went to school. There will be a special blessing for our Graduates at the Masses. Graduates are encouraged to dress up and even wear their Graduation attire if they so desire.

Please plan to attend one of the Masses and support our Graduates as they go forward to a new chapter in their lives.

May God abundantly bless all our Graduates.

Peace,

Fr. Josh
