BEAR CREEK BLAST
November 1st - 5th
Every minute counts:
BCE families, we need your help! Every minute counts! I can not stress the importance of your child being on time and present every day enough. The expectation is that every student is in their chair before the tardy bell rings at 7:40. If your child is constantly coming in late they are missing out on crucial instructional minutes.
We have finally been able to purchase new picnic tables for our back patio! Like everything else in the world, we have experienced supply and shipping delays. The good news is that we should have the opportunity for parents to eat lunch with their children starting in the spring!
GCISD COVID-19 Resources
Please visit www.GCISD.net/COVID19 for lots of resources from the District pertaining to COVID-19. There you can find updated frequently asked questions, current GCISD COVID-19 protocols, information on the GCISD COVID-19 Testing Center, information on remote conferencing, statistics regarding COVID-19 cases in GCISD and more.
GCISD College & Career Night!
Please see THIS short video from our Family Engagement Specialist, Mrs. Burey, about an incentive to attend College Night on Tuesday, Nov. 2nd at Grapevine High School and have your child’s name entered in a drawing for a gift card. Students will get a paper copy of THIS handout on Monday to bring. Make sure they return it on Wednesday!

We had a great Red Ribbon Week at Bear Creek! So many kids and staff had fun dressing up with our themes to help remind us of the importance of living a healthy, drug-free lifestyle. I want to encourage you, as parents/guardians, to keep the lines of communication open with your child (at an age-appropriate level), and to help with that, click HERE for a great resource that gives developmentally appropriate tips.
Check out this week's Golden Paw recipients!
