١. اسمك ووظيفتك في مدرسة أكاديمية عجمان؟
مبروكة ميساوي معلّمة لغة عربية للناطقين بغيرها بالمدرسة الثانوية.
٢. من أين أنت؟
أنا من شمال إفريقيا وتحديدا من تونس البلد الذي تغنى به الشاعر نزار قبّاني فقال:
" يا تونس الخضراء ..جئتُكِ عاشقا وعلى جبيني وردة وكتاب "
٣. عائلتك؟
أعيش في دولة الإمارات منذ تسع سنوات مع أسرتي الصّغيرة. أمّ لِطفليْن مُؤمن عُمُرُه سبع سنوات وزيد عمُرُه سنتان ونصف.
٤. لقب الطفولة؟
بَسمة وهوالاسم المتعارف عليه عند العائلة والأصدقاء .
٥. طعامك المفضل؟
المَأكولات البحرية والفواكه.
٦. هواياتك؟
السّفر،اكتشاف ثقافات جديدة، القراءة.
٧. مكانكالمفضل في دولة الإمارات العربية المتحدة؟
العين، المنطقة الهادئة التّي جَمَعت بين سِحرالتُّراث وجمال الطبيعة.
٨. تجربة لا تنسى حصلت معك كمعلم حتى الآن؟
عندما انتقلت للعيش في الإمارات في مجتمع يَزخربتنوع ثقافي كبير تعلمت أن أرى العالم بأفق أوسع ومن منظورمختلف.
٩. أكثر الأوقات مرحاً في مسيرتك التعليمية؟
عنْدما يُظهر الطلاب حُبَّهم وشغَفهم بتعلّم اللغة العربية، فيَسْمتِعون بالتّعلم. ويُصِرّون على تعلم اللهجة الإمارتية أيضا.
١٠. أصعب التحديات التي واجهتها في مسيرتك التعليمية؟
تحقيق التّوازن بين الدّراسة والعمل.
١١. بطل الطفولة؟
معلّمتي وملهمتي أمي، رحمها الله.علّمتني أنّ العَطاء هو روح الحياة ولذّتها.
١٢. إذا لم تكن معلمًا، فماذا كنت سترغب أن تكون؟
كنت أرغب أن أكون مذيعة تلفزيونية في برامج مُوجّهة لتعليم الأطفال.

My name is Mabrouka Missawi and I teach Arabic as a second language in Secondary.
2. Where are you from?
I am from Tunisia in North Africa. The green country known by its friendly people.
3. Family?
I live in UAE with my family . A mother of two children , Moemen aged 7 years old and Zaid who is 2 years old.
4. Childhood nickname?
My nickname is Bassma which means “smile”.
5. Favourite food?
I absolutely love seafood and fruits
6. Hobbies?
Travelling, discovering new cultures and reading.
7. Favourite place in the UAE?
Al Ain the amazing Ancient heritage emirate which is famous for its relaxing natural beauty.
8. Most memorable experience as a teacher so far?
When I moved to the UAE and lived in a society where I experienced a great cultural diversity, I learned to see the world from different angles and different perspective.
9. Funniest moment in your teaching career?
When I see the students' passion to learn Arabic and insisting on learning the UAE dialect to communicate with their Emirati Friends.
10. Most challenging moment in your teaching career?
Trying to balance work and study.
11. Childhood hero?
My first inspiring teacher: my mother who taught me that giving is the secret and pleasure of life.
12. If you weren’t a teacher, what would you be?
Presenter or a journalist presenting kids educational and entertainment shows.
