Abraham Lincoln was the 16 president of the U.S. He was the man who stopped slavery.Abraham Lincoln was born in Kentucky in 1809. When he was seven, his family moved to Indiana.

Abraham Lincoln fought in the Civil War and defeated the Confederate state. He also freed the black people from slavery. Abe was able to sign the Emancipation Proclamation that helped free the slaves. Abraham was also able to be President of the United States.

Abraham Lincoln had three nicknames which are railsplitter, the great Emancipator, and Honest Abe. One noble thing he said was "I am a slow walker but I never walk backwards." Abraham Lincoln was shot and killed in a theater by John W. Booth.They would give a $50,000 reward to whoever caught the killer of Abraham Lincoln.
PERSONAL IMPRESSION
I can infer that Abraham Lincoln was a nice, brave, and helpful person.For example, he thought that blacks and whites should be equal so he issued the Emancipation Proclamation. It was a government paper that helped free the slaves. How he proves that he's brave is that he not only refused to take away the Emancipation Proclamation he had to go in war to protect it and black people. He never gave up and he even lead the attack against the confederate state.
