Clark Weekly News
For the week ending 4/8/22
Gratitude and Celebration!
Huge thanks for the staff breakfast provided by the family of Michael Edmondson! The bright colors and lots of caffeine were wonderful touches!
Congratulations to the nominees for the Pillar of Fairness who were recognized at our assembly on Thursday: Kayla Carroll, Ben Christy, Delaney Dyer, and Juliana Sequeria. Though all were great nominees, Delaney was selected as the winner for March.
Congrats to the Clark seniors recognized at the IRSC Distinguished Scholar awards last week! Joseph Arias, Kylie Becraft, Ella Carswell, Chloe Clark, Cecilia Galeas, Sydnee Gilliam, Alexander Johansson, Elizabeth michels, Sarah Michels, Matthew Peterson, Brooke Piccoli, Juliana Sequeria, Alsion Tafa, Sanuel Vinci, Julia Williams, and Abe Zbib. Your academic efforts and accomplishments are something to be very proud of!
Shout out to our AMAZING 10th grade class!!!!! EVERY.SINGLE.STUDENT. was here as scheduled for testing today! Let's keep up the commitment to being on time when the reading days and EOCs come in May.
Three Clark seniors have the opportunity of a lifetime to be granted permission to be companions on this weekend's Honor Flight. Please feel free to welcome the flight back if you are able. Clark student escorts are Harry Papapanos, Sydnee Gilliam, and Phil Porter pictured above. They’re scheduled to arrive at PBIA at 7:20 pm Saturday night for the homecoming if anyone would be interested in going.
Way to go math students Evan McCarthy, Falene Arick, Joe Arias, and Sadie Mann, who competed in the Math Olympics today guided by Mrs. Ballard and Ms. Voehl. While they didn't "bring home the trophy" they did have fun and come up with a GREAT team name... the CALCulators!
From Dr. Judd: All I can say is, "WOW!" The students, families, and staff here went above and beyond to make me feel appreciated during AP week! I've cried many tears of joy and gratefulness as I read and heard the kind words shared with me. It has been such an honor to serve the students and families of Clark the past 14 years... 9 of those as AP!
Fairness Winner!
Students showered Dr. Judd with gifts at the assembly on Friday!

Announcements and Updates
Bathrooms are not for socializing. Use the bathroom and wash your hands. Simple.
Students- bathrooms are for going #1 and #2 and washing your hands only. Socializing and other hobbies are NOT to happen in the bathroom. And as always, only 1 person per stall, ever. Wouldn’t it be a shame to not be allowed back at Clark and IRSC because you violate school policies about bathroom usage?
LAST DAY!!!! Clark Families - our annual Satisfaction & Engagement surveys are now live! This is your chance to provide feedback about our school, outreach efforts, initiatives and resources. If you have children enrolled in more than one school, please complete one survey for each school prior to April 8. PARENTS: English: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/TPK35LY

Every day is a celebration!
Make a Difference Mondays! Many thanks to all who donated to the Girl Up! feminine hygiene supply drive. Your donations will help our local students be in school more because they will have access to necessary supplies. There will also be a basket in the restroom at Clark coming soon to help our students meet their needs. Seemingly small actions can make a big difference!
Take Care Tuesdays! Appreciate nature. There’s a reason we treasure our state and national parks, waterways, and beaches. Think of the times you enjoyed a great sunrise or sunset, took a scenic hike, rode your bike in a park, played in the snow, or just took a walk around your neighborhood. Remember how it felt? There is something to our relationship with the outdoors that makes us feel good, if we can allow ourselves a few minutes not to rush or be disturbed by our ring tones.
Way to Go Wednesdays! Shout out to Liam Anderson for slipping right in and wiping up the water spill in the cafe area at the end of lunch on Tuesday. Liam’s swift actions allowed others to NOT slip–and-slide while Mr. Fernando brought in the major equipment for clean-up. Thanks for prompt and thoughtful clean up for a friend and for the safety of all, Liam!!!!
Thankful Thursdays! The City of Stuart and our Clark team THANKS the following seniors for providing their ideas and feedback about Stuart’s Innovation District: Ella Carswell, Rudy Francois, Cecilia Galeas, Elizabeth Michels, Sarah Michels, and Luke Olsen.
Of course we are also incredibly THANKFUL for Dr. Judd and all she does for and with us at Clark during National Assistant Principal week and beyond! We appreciate you, Dr. Judd!!!!!!
Fun Fact Fridays! No announcements due to testing.
