Dear Families,

Thank you to everyone who took time to stop by for Parent/ Teacher Conferences! Our PTO was amazing, as always, and took care of our staff for dinner both nights. Thank you to all who supported them in supplying our meals!

As you discussed at conferences, we are beginning second quarter and our students have new AR goals that they are working to meet by Christmas break (kindergarteners do NOT have AR goals). We recently enjoyed the first quarter AR celebration- a tailgate party with NWMSU girls basketball players, MWSU football players, and our very own SHS athletes. Check out the pictures on our Facebook page if you haven't already! It was a beautiful day and the little kids had lots of fun playing with the "big kids".

Our October PRIDE Store was a huge success. Fifth grade students have been studying economics and spent a lot of time planning goods and services to sell. Some items sold included: pet rocks, bracelets, slime, stress balls, tornados in a bottle, sports lessons, fingernail painting, and participation in a BINGO game. We also had the traditional portion of our store with donated items for sale. PTO also helps us keep the PRIDE Store initiative going with monthly funding as well. HUGE thanks go out to our parent volunteers who set up, run, and tear down the store each month!!! Mark your calendars for November 29th for store set-up and November 30th for the PRIDE Store, we would love your help.

No more clipping!

Download the Boxtops app and simply snap a picture of your grocery receipt! The app will scan the receipt and identify any items on which our school earns points, which are automatically sent in via the app.

Online grocery shopper? Even easier!! You can link your email address via the app, then when you receive your digital receipt just forward it to receipts@boxtops4education.com. It's that easy!!
