7 Days of Mug Cakes

Cheery 'nilla Mug Cake

I wold recommend this recipe for breakfasts and chill days by the fire... But you know, it's your life man :P


4 tbsp all-purpose flour

1/4 tsp baking powder

2 1/2 tsp sugar

3 tbsp milk (fat-free recommended)

1/2 tbsp vegetable oil

1/4 tsp (or a little more :D ) vanilla extract

2-3 Cherries (I had maraschino in my fridge so that's what I used)


Put all the ingredients in a mug (EXCEPT CHERRIES) and mix them together. Grind or chop up cherries and mix them EVENLY into the batter. Put in the microwave for, like, one minute thirty seconds. If they aren't done then add time as you like, but burned cake doesn't taste very good, just a fyi. Once thoroughly cooked, let cool for 5-8 minutes, then flip onto plate. Top with choice of wiping cream & additional cheery and serve. Best when warm :3

I used homemade wiped cream, so if you wanna copy here the recipe for that too :D


1/4 cup heavy wiping cream

1/4 cup confectioners sugar (powdered sugar :P )

2-3 drops coloring (optional)


Add ingredients in blender cup. Blend in a blender in till thick (like 10-30-ish seconds). Put on top of Cake.

Chocolate Molten Lava Cake

This is by far one of the best mug cakes I have ever eaten... recommended for always :)


2 tbsp vegetable oil

2 tbsp water

3-ish drops of vanilla

a tad bit of salt

2 tbsp cocoa powder

3 tbsp sugar

2 tbsp all purpose flour


Add all ingredients into a mug (I like to do dry ingredients first but you can decide for yourself). Stir in till evenly mixed. Place mug in microwave for 65-75 seconds. If you aren't satisfied that its done, add a additional 15 seconds. Eat after 2 minutes of cooling. Top with choice of chocolate syrup or you could try powdered sugar (bet that would be quite nice) Best served warm and with milk.
