Our Seventh Week!

I hope everyone had a nice, restful weekend. The Johnny Appleseed celebration was a success! Thank you to ALL the parent helpers that celebrated with us.

On Friday I sent home a large envelope with your students work from the week. Please send the folder back each Monday so that we can fill it and send it back home on Fridays.

Conferences are coming up fast, there is additional information below.

This week's Homework

The homework packet is being sent home today and will be due on Friday. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

This weeks concepts

Math - use words over, under, above, below, top, middle, bottom, before and after to describe or place an object with respect to another. Identify patterns.

Reading - sight words (can, to, at, I, we, a like, the, some, one, two, three) Asking questions, compare and contrast and reading comprehension

Phonics - letters r, s, t, u. Blending 3 letter words using sounds that we have learned. Identifying initial sounds

Parent Teacher Conferences

I will be sending out a sign up genius form for Parent / Teacher Conferences. The conference should last no more than 20 minutes. We will discuss how your child is doing in the class, and completed testing. Please bring any questions you may have. Below is a link to the form.
