Students will test over Canada, Conquest, and Cuba on Monday - October 30. The review is posted in Google Classroom and the bonus point opportunity must be completed before the test. We will then explore the concept of Dia de los Muertos as we begin our study of Latin America. Students are also completing their summative 5 paragraph essays this week as they demonstrate their mastery of comparing and contrasting skills.

This week we are reflecting on what we have learned about presentation skills and having a growth mindset in Unit 1. Next week we are starting Unit 2. Students will develop their ability to work effectively with a team and accept shared responsibility for work. We will explore what it means to demonstrate professional standards and personal qualities like oral and written communication, leadership, teamwork, conflict management, customer service, work ethic, and adaptability. The students will be collaborating to achieve a common goal.
