Examples of fraud
Phishing and smishing is a fake email or message to get someone to provide personal or account information. Many times if seems very realistic but if you look closely at the email you will realize that it is in fact fake. Never ever respond to one of these emails. Retail or auction fraud is when you buy something online but you don't actually get what you wanted. Work at home is when you pay for a kit or components for an easy job at home, but this job does not actually exist. Avoid fraud by not replying to emails with personal information, research the website and look at customer ratings. Also if it looks too good to be true, it most likely is.
