What the Tech?
G Suite Edition
G Suite for Education
Google Apps for Education is now G Suite for Education. G Suite introduced 5 new time-saving features to speed up and simplify the way you work.
Users are able to assign action items within docs, sheets and slides. This is a feature you must check out especially if you are collaborating on plans. When an action item is assigned to a user, they will be notified of the action. No extra emails needed, everything stays on the file you are referring to! Read about this feature and the others here!

One Slide Projects
Students can create a "One Slide Project" for units of study in Social Studies and Science. Students focus on the essential questions during the study and dedicate "One Slide" to that unit. The OSP was ongoing throughout the year and made for a great review. This kept the information fresh because they always had access to it. Students worked on this at home, when they finished work early or I would set aside a block of time at the end of the unit.
Once pushed out through Google Classroom, you will instantly have access to these throughout the year!
Here is an example: One Slide Project
