The district created resource for using NKT to Make Data-Based Decisions, can be accessed here. It outlines appropriate interventions for students who fall in the strategic (yellow) or intensive (red) levels. Assessing Math Concepts (AMC) will be used for intensive interventions. Strategic Interventions aligned to the NKT can be found here.

The MOY Summative Assessments are optional for K-2 teachers. They will be posted to CMAPP under the Resources tab for each grade level for teachers who choose to use the individual tasks or the entire assessment. Your team may choose to use items from this assessment when making your math assessments.

KEA Updates: 60th day November 28 DUE December 5
After the 60th day review all the data you have been collecting informally since the start of the school year. You will need to enter a Summary Statement in Oasis for each student. The 60th day is November 28 and Summary statements are due December 5.
Using OASIS has several benefits including: not having to enter student ID numbers when assessing, using the same program for both administration and reporting, and allowing you to enter data when you are at school/home.
Even after the 60th day, work as a PLT to make formative observations on students’ progress along the 8 construct progressions throughout the year. As a PLT discuss which construct/constructs you will focus on during the week and look for opportunities to observe students within their current lesson plans.
The Construct Bookmarks, Directions for using Oasis, and a sample recording sheet can be found under the Kindergarten Link on my Google Site linked here.
