General Announcements
Parents of seniors- With Saturday evening’s prom comes great excitement. Grand plans are made with every intention of making an evening of fun memories. While I am so proud of the responsible choices our students make each day, prom can present a unique set of challenges. I encourage you to visit with your soon–to-be-graduating senior about the importance of safety and continuing to make responsible choices on prom night. In an effort to insure safe and responsible behavior, the Plano East administration will take the following steps:
2. Make use of the contraband and canine unit to insure seniors attending the prom are not in possession of alcohol or drugs
3. Ample supervision of the event with Plano East teachers and police department personnel
With your help, we look forward to sharing positive and endearing prom memories with you as we move closer to graduation.
Speaking of graduation- Please visit the Plano East website at https://www.pisd.edu/Domain/57 to read both the “Countdown to Graduation” document and the details regarding the Ford Center.
