Law #1 Law of Motion

A object at rest will stay at rest unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
The stick is the unbalanced force because it is accelerating and acting upon the balanced force which is the ping pong ball not moving until it is poked by the stick.


The foot is the unbalanced force because it is being accelerated and is acting upon the balanced force which is is the soccer ball not moving until it is kicked by the foot.

Law #2

The acceleration of an object depends on the mass of the object and the net force applied.
The golf ball has a smaller mass than the bowling ball so less force is needed to push the golf ball and more force is needed to push the bowling ball.


The two skateboards have different net force, the one on top is being pushed slower and also has to deal with friction and the skateboard on the bottom is being pushed faster and also has to deal with friction.

The net force for the bottom skateboard is greater than the top.

The net force is all forces that are acting upon an object added up.

Law #3

For every force there is an opposite and equal reaction.
The bouncy ball is being thrown at the ground and it hits the ground, the ground has an opposite and equal reaction by pushing the ball back unless whatever it hits in this case the ground if its weak then it will collapse or suffer from the impact.


A very relatable example is bouncing on a trampoline.

You jump on the trampoline and when you land and bounce up that's the trampoline applying an equal and opposite reaction.
