Educators operate from a learner mindset when they continually build their instructional practice to bring out the best in students. This session offers skills for coaching self and others towards active mindset awareness and navigation. Participants will acquire strategies for building their own and others' capacity to reflect on unconscious beliefs and take steps toward adopting a learner mindset.
Guaranteed to be fun, meaningful learning.

Dr. Sue Chapman
Sue Chapman, Ed.D. is a professional educator, presenter, and author who has devoted over 40 years to instructional improvement and mathematics education. Throughout her career, Sue has served as a classroom teacher, instructional coach, district curriculum coordinator, and school administrator. She currently supports the education community as a Professional Learning Coach and Consultant for Math Solutions, an Adjunct Faculty Member with the University of Houston – Clear Lake, and a Board Member for Learning Forward Texas. Sue has published numerous articles about professional learning and school improvement in JSD (now The Learning Professional) and Teaching Children Mathematics. She regularly blogs and hosts Twitter Chats about instructional coaching for Math Solutions. Sue’s passion for professional learning and her ability to inspire educators to come together around a shared vision of success have been instrumental in helping schools and districts develop internal capacity to achieve continuous improvement of instruction. Elita Driskill, PCC
Elita Driskill currently serves as an administrator, consultant, researcher, ICF Professional Certified Coach, and Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. Driskill has worked with K-12 teachers, teacher leaders, administrators, pre-service teachers, support staff, and child nutrition professionals. Elita trains and coaches on literacy, new teacher induction, instructional technology, leadership and instructional coaching, and others-centered communication skills. Driskill focuses on others-centered leadership coaching and communication to build capacity for intentional communication and enhanced leadership effectiveness.
