Tison had 40 students compete in this contest, and there were over 200 entries so these students did a great job!
TISON BANDS EARN SWEEPSTAKES AT UIL COMPETITION
On Wednesday, April 3rd, the Tison Symphonic Band traveled to Centennial High School in Burleson, where they competed in their UIL competition. The Tison Symphonic Band earned a sweepstakes by receiving Superior Ratings in both the Concert Stage and in Sight-reading.
On Thursday, April 4th, the Tison Honors Band also traveled to Centennial HS where they competed in their UIL competition. The Tison Honors band earned a sweepstakes by receiving Superior Ratings in both the Concert Stage and in Sight-reading.
This is a HUGE accomplishment and we are so proud of our band students!! If you know a Tison Symphonic or Honors band student, please congratulate him or her!
