Copyright Fair Use
Four Factors to Consider:
1. Purpose and Character
If your purpose is to profit monetarily, it is NOT fair use.
If your purpose is to analyze or criticize the work, it is fair use.
2. Nature
If it is a creative work, it is NOT fair use.
If it is strictly a strictly factual work, it is fair use.
3. Amount and Substantiality
The amount of work used matters; even a small amount is not allowed if it is
the "heart" of the work.
4. Effect on the Market
If it would result in an economic loss for the author, it is NOT fair use.
I have attached, with the author's permission, a YouTube video which explains copyright in more detail specifically in an educational setting. It is just over six minutes long.
