Hello Hilltopper Families!
As we approach the end of the quarter tomorrow, I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for your continued support and involvement in your child's education.
The completion of the third quarter signifies a significant milestone in our academic calendar and I am thrilled to witness the continuous progress, growth and accomplishments of our students. They have demonstrated resilience and dedication, both academically and personally and their efforts have truly shone throughout this grading period.
As upcoming report cards arrive next week, I encourage you to take a moment to celebrate your child's achievements. Acknowledge their hard work and reflect on the individual strides they've made this past quarter. Please convey my encouragement to them to persevere and finish the school year strongly.
Thank you for being an integral part of our school community. Your support at home is invaluable and together we can continue fostering a love for learning in our students.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Makee

IMPORTANT- BLIZZARD BAGS
Since we have reached our 5th calamity day, we want to inform you about our Blizzard Bag Plan for Park Elementary which went home on February 9th. We are providing Blizzard Bags to your child in the event of inclement weather resulting in a school closure. This will enable your child to continue their learning at home. These bags will contain TWO DAYS WORTH of assignments and activities which align with their current curriculum. Your child's teacher will provide instructions and we encourage you to engage with your child in completing these assignments to ensure continuity in their education. As for the specials classes, complete ONLY the activity for the special the child has on that calamity day. You will have 10 school days to complete each day's Blizzard Bag assignments. For example, if we have a snow day on March 1, the bag would be due on March 15th. We appreciate your support in making learning a collaborative effort, even on snow days. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or the school office.
