Both campuses will be closed for safety reasons while the eclipse is in full effect. We have safety glasses and a safety lesson by our science teacher, Mr. Martin. He will also have telescopes for us to use. Again - please conduct all office business before noon or after two because we will be closed to concentrate on our 530 students. Wise Words with Dr. Rosales & Ms. Skidmore
The March Madness Coping Skills game has come to an end! It was quite a stir when the two finalist coping skills of Listening to Music or Taking a Break came toe to toe in Week #3. This week, our CAHS students have voted and made it clear that Listening to Music is the number #1 choice of coping skills when it comes to destressing. Listening to music touches the soul; for many, it is a form of self-care and mood regulation. Some students commented on their voting ballots, "I love my music," there's no wonder why because Music has been used for several years to soothe others and themselves. Make sure to take time to engage in your preferred choice of self-care because when you prioritize yourself, you will be healthier with yourself and those around you.
We hope you've enjoyed following the March Madness Coping Skills game. Thanks for playing!
Students and parents, please check your HAC to view your classes for the 2024-2025 school year.
