Senior Financial Aid NIght
Senior financial aid night is scheduled for January 20 at 6:30 p.m. ISM College Planning will provide an in-depth overview of the financial aid process. Participants will also receive information about the local scholarships available to the Class of 2016, the application process, and timeline.

Office Hours for the Week of 12/14/2015
During office hours, I am available for walk in appointments with students in the student services office. Students can come in with a pass from their teacher, during lunch, or during passing period for help with their college admission questions.
Monday 12/14 - 8th Period - 4:30 (Late bus passes available)
Wednesday 12/16 - 7:00 a.m. - 4th Period
Thursday - 12/17 - 2nd period - 8th period

Gates Millennium Scholars
The Gates Millennium Scholars (GMS) Program selects 1,000 talented students each year to receive a good-through-graduation scholarship to use at any college or university of their choice. The 2016 GMS Online Application is open until January 13, 2016 at 11:59 p.m. EST. For the complete list of eligibility criteria, click here.
Ron Brown Scholar Program - 1/9 Deadline
The Ron Brown Scholar Program (RBSP) honors the legacy of Ronald H. Brown through a selective scholarship program that advances higher education for community-minded and intellectually gifted African Americans. RBSP competitively awards Ron Brown Scholars four-year $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the most talented and economically-challenged high school seniors who demonstrate a keen interest in public service, community engagement, business entrepreneurship and global citizenship – the four pillars of the late Ronald H. Brown’s mission to uplift people of all races, cultures and ethnicities – especially our disadvantaged youth. 21st Century Scholars - Affirm your Scholarship Today!
There are Key steps that must be taken this year to access your 21st Century Scholarship next year. One easy and important step is the affirmation. GE - Reagan Foundation Scholarship Program
In honor of the legacy and character of President Ronald Reagan, this program annually rewards up to 20 college-bound students who demonstrate exemplary leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship with $10,000 renewable scholarships (up to $40,000 per recipient). Get a Jump on your FAFSA

Admission Definitions
Many of you have applied to several colleges and are receiving decisions. The terms used in decision letters can be confusing. Here are the meanings of some common terms you will encounter.
Wayne Township Education Foundation Scholarships

All senior requests for transcripts and supporting documents must go through Naviance. Instructions are on your Naviance homepage and on the Student Services website.
