*BCHS LMC*
~September 2018~
Welcome Back!!
It's our first LMC newsletter of the school year and we know you're
super stoked to see what witty insight and amazing know-how we'll throw your way!!
First, some important links:
Welcome, Mark Frament!
A note from Mark:
"I am happy to be working here at the BCHS LMC. I am a certified Social Studies teacher coming from part-time experience at Shen, Shaker and Niskayuna. Last year, I subbed and taught Business classes for an interim period here at BCHS. The staff and students here are great and I am looking forward to contributing all I can to the BCHS community.
In the LMC, I will be a familiar face at the sign-in/out counter and reference desk. I would be happy to help students or faculty find books and resources for class projects or personal interest."
Mark is in for Kristy through October 3rd.
Stop in and say hi!
Ready to get your classes down here??
Some notes:
- It displays weekly, so use the arrows at the top to find the week you're looking for.
- If no periods are showing up, it means there are none available to book during that time.
- To book a class, click on the period you'd like and fill in the information as prompted.
- In the "description" box, please include the course name, the grade level, the approximate number of students, and the project you'll be working on.
- Please also indicate if you'd like one of us to work with you and in what capacity. If you'd like to collaborate, a follow-up email would be appreciated.
- When completed, it adds the period as an event to YOUR google calendar. You can edit any details from there.
- To cancel a period you've already booked, leave sign-up page and delete the event from YOUR calendar. *If you just decline the invitation to the event, it remains booked so we're still expecting you and no one else can sign up for that period. :(
An Additional Note:
This year, when you bring a class down, we have unrestricted access to the LMC classroom!
Although we'll miss Dave Coughlin's smiling face every morning, we're pleased to share that he's got himself a classroom outside of the LMC! He may end up missing the AC but we're sure he's thrilled to be out in the trenches with his comrades. :)
