Principal's Message
Wow! Fall is here and we already are nearing the end of the first quarter! Thank you to all of our families for your hard work in caring for your children, getting them to school, and helping them with learning. We could not do what we do at school without you!
As we move ahead into the school year, we know that some of our learning becomes a little more challenging. Gaining new skills in math, reading, and science, is really just like strengthening our skills in football, skateboarding, working on cars; cooking, woodworking, sewing, and so on. Our word of the month at Korte for October is Integrity. C.S. Lewis once said, “Integrity is doing the right thing, even when no one is watching.” Integrity is about character; something that is evident in what we say and do. As we focus on integrity this month with our Coyotes, we will think about: Showing integrity in what we say by keeping our word; honoring one another for who we are - a family; doing our best as adults to model integrity; and learning that it is ok to make mistakes, and to do our best even when it is difficult. We know that Our Coyotes Can!
