Hello Hilltopper Families!
I hope you were able to enjoy the recent eclipse viewing experience! Witnessing natural phenomena like an eclipse can be truly captivating for young minds. It provides a wonderful opportunity for them to connect with science and the world around them. The students were talking about it when they entered the building on Tuesday and their excitement was palpable! They couldn’t wait to share their reactions with their teachers and classmates! It was truly amazing!
These last few days of sunshine have certainly put us all in full “Spring Fever” mode! This is the time of year when it’s important to stay focused and finish strong! Whether it's completing assignments, taking tests or participating in class activities, please remind your student to stay engaged and committed until the very end. Remember, every effort we put in now paves the way for future success in the future.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Makee

IMPORTANT- BLIZZARD BAGS
Since we have reached our 5th calamity day, we want to inform you about our Blizzard Bag Plan for Park Elementary which went home on February 9th. We are providing Blizzard Bags to your child in the event of inclement weather resulting in a school closure. This will enable your child to continue their learning at home. These bags will contain TWO DAYS WORTH of assignments and activities which align with their current curriculum. Your child's teacher will provide instructions and we encourage you to engage with your child in completing these assignments to ensure continuity in their education. As for the specials classes, complete ONLY the activity for the special the child has on that calamity day. You will have 10 school days to complete each day's Blizzard Bag assignments. For example, if we have a snow day on March 1, the bag would be due on March 15th. We appreciate your support in making learning a collaborative effort, even on snow days. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to your child's teacher or the school office.
