Seventh grade students went to the Marcus Performing Arts Center to see First Stage’s production of Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. Students commented that several scenes from the book weren’t included but that they still enjoyed the show. Our students represented RMS well!

Raider Reps Updates
Raider Reps had another successful dance, with the highest winter attendance of 92 kids. The dance theme was “Out of this World”. There were new decorations such as blow up aliens and glowing galactic balloons. It really made the dance come alive! We also had an intense dodgeball game in the gym. Later, there was a very close Fortnite dance battle as well. So many great contestants with Cayden in 8th grade taking the W. He won a free takeout lunch. We also sold out of ALL our pizza and had great new concession snacks like Takis.
We would also like to thank our amazing volunteers. We could not have had the dance without you.
Please be on the lookout for information about our next event, Penny Wars. This year we will be challenging Friess Lake students to see who raises the most money for charity. Let the battle begin, and help us raise money for 5 great charities! Also, later in May we will be bringing back Capture the Flag. We hope you will join us at these amazing events. Thank you, Raider Reps.

SUMMER SCHOOL REGISTRATION NOW OPEN!!!
Help Needed!!
HHOPS, our PTO, is in need of parent volunteer(s) to help assemble our middle school basket per grade for our upcoming district-wide fundraiser, Celebrate Families. As a lead you will be picking a basket theme, compiling items & donations from other parents, and assembling your basket for the online auction. If this seems overwhelming, please feel free to team up with another parent to complete. HHOPS will also send you helpful information to ensure your basket is successful. Your support in coordinating our auction baskets allows us to have a successful auction. This year is especially important, because the online auction funds will be used to help purchase a new playground for FLES.
Please follow the link to sign up to be a lead for your child's classroom: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C0C4AAAA72AABF9CF8-47707225-celebrate#/
We also need donations of baskets and items to auction off. See more below! Thank you!! 😀
ATTENTION HHASD FAMILIES
HHOPS has started requesting donations for the Celebrate Families virtual auction held in April. If your family has any interest in donating a basket or item to auction off, we would welcome the contribution! Or perhaps your employer would be willing to donate. We are hoping for a great offering this year so we can beat last year's fundraising goal! Proceeds raised will go towards the purchase of new playground equipment at FLES. All donations are tax deductible! If you have any questions, please email hhopsworks@gmail.com.
As always, thank you for supporting your district PTO!
Auction Basket Volunteers Needed- Please consider helping your child’s classroom with making an auction basket for the Celebrate Families event in April. Last year, we had some amazing baskets thanks to our wonderful volunteers. Please consider helping HHOPS this year. The link is below and we have lots of open spots. Thanks.

Students Staying to Watch the Game?
Students who wish to stay after school and watch home games need to provide permission prior to attending the game. Email Mrs. Viste, viste@hhasd.org or call, 262-628-1032, to allow your child to stay after school. This can be provided for a specific date or noted for the entire season.
Let's go Raiders!
When is a Medical Excuse Required?
If your child has suffered an injury (broken bone, sprain, concussion, etc), a medical excuse MUST BE provided to the office. This is necessary to understand any accommodations that may be needed and an expected timeframe. The information is kept in the students medical file, as well as shared with necessary staff, so we can provide the required accommodations.
