A Note from Mrs. Conway
I hope you have enjoyed the Christmas break and the freezing weather without snow! Most importantly, I hope you've spent some time with your loved ones. The New Year is here and so is the second semester of this school year!
School resumes on January 9th for students. I can't wait to see each of them!

9 Week Rewards – Special rewards designed for students who:
Have not reached THINK Level 2 (2nd Semester)
Have not been to ISS
are passing all classes
Have been in attendance at least 90% of days (tardies and early pick-ups count)

UIL
The UIL Academic program provides an opportunity for students to compete in events that are designed to complement and expand upon what they learn in the classroom. We want as many students as possible to be involved in this program. We will begin the process this year with open sign ups. The UIL District Academic competition will be held on Saturday, March 24th.
Please look for a parent permission slip to come home after the holidays.

Attendance is so important!
Every Friday there will be a drawing for one student per family that has been at school everyday that week. If their name is drawn they will receive a free sonic sundae pass.
*Classes with 100% attendance for the week will receive electronics time on Wednesdays.
