THE BUBBLE NEBULAE
The image shown above is the Bubble Nebulae and it was taken by J-P Metsävainio using narrowband image data. It was blown by the wind to create a massive star that created a bubble like shape. The Bubble nebulae when first discovered was also known as the NGC 7635. The Bubble nebulae lies 11,000 lightyears away from the constellation of Cassiopeia. The nebulae appears very delicate but it is 10 light years in diameter and offers evidence of violent processes at work. Above and to the right of the nebulae is the hot O Star that is several hundred thousands times more luminous and 45 times more massive then the sun. This shows how big this nebulae is. This star has created fierce wind and radiation that has blasted out glowing gas against denser material in a surrounding molecular cloud.
New Terms
Violent Processes: in accordance to astronomy, it means something is fast working
Glowing Gas: outside of the nebulae from a large magellanic cloud.
