AZ Delegation to Washington, DC
Arizona was well represented at the 2024 NAESP/NASSP National School Leaders Advocacy Conference in Washington, DC in March. The event gathers principal leaders from across the country in the nation’s capital to build attendees’ leadership skills, knowledge around how federal policies and programs impact principals and schools, and how to advocate on these issues. ASA's delegation met with AZ's congressional representatives and staff to advocate for public education. Many thanks to Kristin Kinghorn, Ben Rodriguez, Lucas Pugh, Andy Gutierrez and Chris Jackson for giving up their spring breaks to engage in this advocacy event.
