Creative Storm Video Contest
Want to give your students an incentive for doing their best work? Have them enter the 2018 Creative Storm Video Contest! With a little creativity, students are asked to share the highlights on any topic in 90 seconds or less. Each video and its entry form(s) must be submitted by 11:59 pm on Friday, December 14, 2018. There is a small bonus in scoring for those videos submitted by 11:59 pm on Friday, November 16, 2018. You'll find all the information you need here. Pay close attention to all rules, deadlines, and the release form(s) requirement. Because video entries will be freely available online, you will need release forms for anyone identifiable appearing in the video. This would be great for a passion project or any subject content!
#WestServes365
As a West Community one of our goals is to create a strong presence in our county by volunteering at a variety of local events during the year. Becky and I are a part of the West Serves committee and will serve as your reps for all volunteer events. This year our team would love to see as many Sawnee faculty members volunteer for at least one event in our community. This is completely optional but can be done individually, as a grade level, or with your family/friends. We will be promoting several events throughout the year that will hopefully fit into your schedule. If you have any events that you know of please let us know so we can share them with the staff.
After you finish volunteering please email us with the event and a possible picture. We’d also love to promote any service activities with the hashtag #WestServes365 on social media.
Thank you for making Forsyth and Sawnee a great place to call home!!
