Students are not allowed on school grounds before 8:00 a.m. Students who are on school grounds earlier than expected will be sent to the office to call parents/guardians.

Teacher Assignments
Parents will be notified after 6 p.m. on Thursday, August 11th of their child's teacher. The teacher will send a message via Remind introducing themselves and sharing a little information about their classroom. Please be sure your email and phone number are up to date in Infinite Campus. Parents are also able to check their child's teacher assignment at the Bulldog Welcome.
Bulldog Welcome, August 12th ~ 1-3:30 p.m.
Please join us in kicking off the 2022-23 school year. Bring your child's school supplies to drop off, see their classroom and meet their teacher! This is an Open House, come anytime after 1 p.m. We will conclude at 3:30 p.m. Thank you and we can't wait to see everyone!

Kindergarten Readiness Days
Breakfast & Lunch Costs
The Federal School Meal Waivers expired June 30, 2022. Widefield School District 3 (WSD3) will be going back to the National School Lunch and Breakfast programs for the 2022-2023 school year.
This means, all school meals are no longer free for all students. Families need to apply for free school meals once again.
APPLICATIONS
Applications for free/reduced meals can be picked up at the WESA office or filled out online via this link: meal applications. A new application must be filled out every school year.
New application benefits will be in effect as soon as the application is processed.
One application per family is required.
You do not need to fill out an application per student.
Please list all household members on the application including infants and children that are not in school, and all adults whether or not they receive income.
Make sure all information is filled out and that you have signed and dated the application.
Your application cannot be processed if it is not filled out correctly. If you have a valid email address, please include that on the application.
MEAL PRICES
We will also be offering a la carte items in our junior high and high schools. Elementary students will be able to purchase extra milk. If your child would like to purchase extra items, please ensure they have adequate funds on their account for those purchases.

If you qualify for Reduced Price Meals, those meals are FREE for all grades.
Menus are available on our website, wsd3ns.com, as well as at the link for online payments, meal applications, and other resources. If your child has special dietary needs, have the Medical Statement Form filled out by your physician. You can obtain a form from our website, your school nurse, or by contacting the Nutrition Services Office.
