Andrew Jackson... an American Hero
Andrew Jackson was born on March 15, 1767. A lawyer and a landowner, he became a national war hero after defeating the British in New Orleans during the War of 1812. Jackson was elected the seventh president of the United States in 1828. Known as the "people's president," Jackson destroyed the National Bank, founded the Democratic Party and is known for his support of individual liberty. he was also not raised with money and a perfect family. He was born into a "common man" type of family, this really makes the people of America like him that much more because they feel that he is like them. Unlike George Washington who is rich and mainly white, rich men vote for him which is not the majority of America.

We all make mistakes...
Of course, as a human being Andrew has made some mistakes in his life. Some small some people to this day still don't forgive. But he's was very important to our nation and has done remarkable things that if never happened it would've changed what our country looks like today. Andrew wasn't born into money, so him and his fans kind of have that bond and takes away the feeling of thinking he's such a higher rank then the rest of us.
