Ginjer Clarke is coming!
It's an author visit!
Tuesday, October 28, students will have the exciting opportunity to connect with a real-life author! Ginjer Clarke, who currently lives in Richmond, is a nonfiction writer of animal stories. Her books have been published by Penguin and can also be found on wegivebooks.org!
Separate programs have been set up for K/1, 2/3 and 4/5. These will coincide with students' resource times (as best as possible).
I have books available for you to check out from this author to read to your students, as well as you can read them the e-book versions on We Give Books! I'll also be introducing students to this author through library lessons as well.
Students have a chance to pre-order books that Mrs. Clarke will sign that day! Please send these home in the 10/2 Thursday Fox Folders. The deadline for preorders will be Friday, October 10. Please send students to me with order forms/money and I will take care of receipting them! If possible, I will order extras that students can purchase that day.
