The Kurtz Connection
Welcoming + Empowering + Achieving = GREATNESS!
NOTES THIS WEEK:
As winter weather starts to settle over us, students continue to enjoy recess outside almost every day! Our students do not miss a beat as they make snowmen, forts and “sled” down the hill, while having fun with friends. We expect our students to dress and act appropriately on the playground. Students who wish to play in the snow must be dressed with appropriate winter gear. It is our goal to keep students dry and warm. Snow pants, gloves and boots are expected to be worn in order for students to get out and play in the snow. If not dressed appropriately, students will have recess on the plowed black top areas.
Outdoor recess is always implemented unless it is raining, temperatures fall below 15 degrees or when the wind chill factor is 0 degrees or below.

Story Time!
Last month, Mr. Chisik read The Juice Box Bully. The Juice Box Bully is another great story about standing up and doing what is right!
