A Message from the Principal
Lauren Meeks
Welcome Back, Mustangs!
Thank you so much for your cooperation in the parent drop off and pick up lines. Our morning and afternoon procedures are running faster and more efficient. We do want to remind you to please write your child's name in large letters on a white or bright paper. This allows teachers to see and call out your child's name without asking you to roll down your window, taking longer to get through the car line. We appreciate your help with this.
You received an email this week about the Home Access Center, (HAC). Home Access Center will allow parents to see attendance, schedules, and grades. Additional functionality such as attendance and tardy information will be available in September. If you have any questions about the HAC, please visit the District's Let’s Talk page, and they will work to address your issues quickly.
Visitors may begin to visit for lunch and volunteer opportunities starting on Monday. We look forward to seeing you around the school.
Have a great weekend!

Pickup Procedures
K-1 Parent Pickup
The K/1 pickup line is for CAR riders only. If you would like to walk up to get your child after school, you will need to change their transportation to Front Walker and pick them up at the flag pole in front of the building.

Drop Off Procedures
Walkers: All pedestrians must cross in a crosswalk! To ensure the safety of all students and their family members, please do not cross traffic outside of a crosswalk.
Additionally, we kindly ask that you do not park your car in the line. We ask for parents to remain in the car while staff and safety patrol assist with opening doors for students. We will kick off our safety patrol the week of September 2nd. If your 4th or 5th grade child is interested in participating in safety patrol, be sure to keep an eye out for that information coming soon from Coach Lane & Coach Cassidy!
We will likely be piloting some alternative exit procedures near Garner Park Dr. & Alabaster. This location is our heaviest traffic area and we have observed many safety concerns. Please be patient with us as we are working very hard to design routes that are safe for all stakeholders.
