Great Moments in Hot Bev History
You're back! And so is Free Hot Bevs. Coffee has had to make a few comebacks itself. Several times throughout history, it's been banned throughout the globe:
1511 - Banned in Mecca for stimulating radical thinking
1623 - Banned in Constantinople - punishable by being sewn into a bag
1746 - Banned in Sweden - used as torture for prisoners
And now, you can get coffee sourced from every corner of the planet on and corner of the street. Quite a comeback indeed.
Free hot bevs is back tomorrow, starting at 9 AM. Please bring your own mug, so we can help save the Earth!
Thanks to Mental Floss for the facts.
