Infected birds transmit the disease to the mosquitoes and that cycle goes back and forth as the mosquitoes carry the disease and pass it on to animals and humans by biting their prey and the disease just carry on with even no vaccine.

*First found in West Nile subregion in the nation of Uganda in 1937
*Minor risk to humans until outbreaks in Algeria in 1994 and Romainia in 1996 showed high number of cases with neuroinvasive disease
*Idebtified in New York in 1999 and spread contintal in the next 5 years, spreding heavly in teh west of cours and spreading up north to canada.
*Killed 286 in the USA in 2012

Their are no vaccines or cure so you can always try to provide clean water or clean stuff to ones who are infected. Provide screen nets, and donate to the poeple who don't have air conditioning.
