Jostens -- Class Rings
Jostens plans to be at WCHS on Wednesday, September 14 during lunch periods to take class ring orders. Please be sure to bring your $75.00 deposit at this time. Family ordering time will also be on Wednesday, September 14 from 4-6 PM.
Title I Compacts
Parking Permits Required
Parking permits are required for parking on school property. The cost of a parking permit is $30.00 for the full year or $15.00 for the second semester only.
- Parking permits can be purchased in the "Student Store" section on www.MySchoolBucks.com
- A completed application must be submitted to the activities office before a permit will be issued. You can find the application here.
Please visit the ISD High School Student Handbook for all parking guidelines.
WC Homecoming Information
Date: Saturday Oct 1st from 7pm - 10pm
Location: WC Large Gym (Enter through Gym Doors)
Theme: Golden Las Vegas
Tickets: $10 each
- To buy tickets you must have 90% attendance, no obligations, and 2 or less failing grades.
- Grades will be pulled from PowerSchool on Wednesday 9/21 and then rechecked on various dates throughout the ticket sale window.
- If a student goes to buy a ticket and is ineligible due to grades, but has brought up their grade, they will need to come back another day to buy their ticket to allow time for the sales sheet to be updated.
- Students PowerSchool grades must show 2 or less failing grades by Wednesday Sept 28th. In order to be eligible to buy a ticket before sales end.
Tickets will go on sale during lunch starting Wednesday September 21st until Friday September 30th. **Tickets will not be on sale on Thursdays**
If you would like to bring a guest that does not attend WC, please print the following guest form or pick one up from the office and get it filled out and turned into the back admin window. Guests must be approved before tickets for them can be purchased.

Fall Conferences
Please plan on joining us for fall conferences on either Tuesday, October 18 or Wednesday, October 19. This is a good opportunity to discuss with your student's teachers how your child is progressing in class as well as to share any strengths or concerns.
Tuesday, October 18: 3:00 - 7:00 pm
Wednesday, October 19: 3:00 - 6:30 pm
College Fair + FAFSA Frenzy
Join us on October 19th from 3:00 - 6:30 (during Conferences). We will be having a college fair in the Atrium. This is a good opportunity to get information about a school and talk to an institution with any specific questions and get help filling out the FAFSA.
This event is encouraged for Junior and Senior families, but it is open to all.
Saturday School
If you should find yourself needing to recoup seat time to earn credit due to too many absences, please plan on attending Saturday School. Saturday School is located in the ISD Central Office at 201 N. Forest Avenue from 8:00 am - Noon.

Updated Breakfast and Lunch Information
The ISD offers breakfast and lunch each day for students. Breakfasts and lunches are no longer free for all students. Please be sure to complete the Free and Reduced Meal Application. This must be completed annually. It is important to note that our school receives federal funding based on the number of students qualifying for free or reduced lunches. Please take advantage of this program if you qualify. All families receiving assistance are kept in confidence.

Days with No School to Schedule Appointments
One of the most important ways a family can support their child's growth and learning is to make sure they are in attendance each day at school. There is absolutely no substitute for the quality of learning that takes place in a classroom led by an expert teacher with peers to collaborate with and share in the learning. There are many unpredictable events in life that can result in missing school, from simple sickness to family emergencies. It is important for our students' learning to make sure that for those events that are within our control, we are planning in ways that keep their attendance high and without interruption.
As a way to partner with families and help them with careful planning, here are the days that students are out of session for the 2022-2023 school year:
