NWEA Student Reports
The NWEA MAP Growth assessment aligns with the Missouri education standards and provides instructional guidance to Park Hill teachers related to Missouri benchmarks.
Your child will be bringing home a paper copy of their NWEA score report and a letter with more information about the test. Online families will get the report and letter in the mail. Please take some time to review the report and reach out to your child's teacher if you have any questions or if you would like to discuss the implications of the test scores.
Thank you for your partnership this year as students took these tests and we worked to utilize the scores to drive student growth.
Scholastic Book Fair
Our BOGO Book Fair has arrived, and it’s time to stock up for the summer! This year, it will last 2 weeks instead of 1. The week of April 26-April 30, the fair will be open during library classes, and EVERY student will receive 2 FREE BOOKS!! This is supported by PTA, as well as from grants we received for Readers Are Leaders from Walmart and Sam’s Club.
The week of May 3-May 7, the fair will be open during library times for students to purchase books with money. You may add funds to their eWallet or send cash. We will NOT accept checks or cards from students. Again, the fair is not open for parents to come to school, and we are unable to accept parent volunteers as well. Keep us in mind for next year!
BOGO can be tricky, so please talk to your child about the following things:
- You will pay for the most expensive book, so try to choose a 2nd book close to the same price.
- The price is without tax, and you MUST add money for tax. Tax Rate: 8.85%
Online Residency Verification for 21-22
Every year, all Park Hill families are required to visit the Campus Parent portal to verify student demographic, health, and emergency contact information, and submit proof of residency documents for the upcoming school year. You can access a digital copy of a guide for getting started on our website.
Note: Only a legal guardian living with a current student in their household can prove residency and complete verification for that student.
Summer School
Southeast Superstars will join Hopewell Hawks at Hopewell this summer while some building projects are done at Southeast.
- Enrollment via Infinite Campus (during online residency verification), April 5-May 7
After May 7, please call us or visit the Park Hill website to register your children.
Kindergarten Kickoff
Kindergarten enrollment is just around the corner, and we have important information for you if you have children starting kindergarten this August. If you have a neighbor with an incoming kindergarten student, please share this information.
- Enroll your kindergartener beginning April 5 in Infinite Campus.
- Save the date for Kindergarten Kickoff, which will be from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on May 6. You and your child with get a chance to explore Southeast and get excited for kindergarten. Use THIS SIGNUP GENIUS to pick a time to stop by.
- Get ready for our first day of school on Monday, August 23. We will be contacting you to schedule a kindergarten readiness assessment, so we can be ready to meet your child's educational needs.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Parent Input Form 21-22 School Year
Many factors are considered in the process of creating balanced classroom groups including learning styles, numbers of boys/girls, academic needs, behavior, study work habits, and peer relations.
Please keep in mind, that parent requests for specific classroom teachers are not accepted. However, some parents like to offer input as to their children’s learning needs. Below is a link to a parent input form. If you would like, please complete this form by April 30th. Teachers will review the feedback provided on the form while working on classroom groupings, so please do not include information about specific teachers on this sheet. Instead, focus comments solely on your child’s needs. If you have multiple children at Southeast, please complete a separate form for each child.
AVID Survey
As an AVID school, we gather feedback from students, staff, and our parents each year. Please take a few minutes to fill out the AVID parent survey. We appreciate your feedback.
April Curriculum Connections
Check out the linked Curriculum Connections below to see what Park Hill students are learning! We want to share the learning topics at all of the grade levels so that you can ask your child about their learning this month. Your child's teacher is always happy to provide more details should you have questions!

- 1st Quarter Total: 50,858 points
- 2nd Quarter Total: 48,966 points
- 3rd Quarter Total: 83,703 points
This year we are working hard to recognize students for all the great things that they are doing. When staff notice students following our school PBIS expectations (Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Proactive, Be a Leader) they often award students a Leadership Point.
Southeast Communication
You will find several ways to stay up to date on school activities on the Southeast website , Facebook, and newsletters from your child’s teacher. You will also occasionally get an automated email or voicemail message sent to you, by the school, with important information and reminders. We know two-way communication is best, so please feel free to call or email with any questions you may have regarding your child’s education.
