Community Resources
NAYA
We are honored to work with the Native American Youth and Family Center (NAYA) at Reynolds High School. NAYA is one of our community partners working together with RHS to support our students. NAYA offers youth advocacy for all self-identified Native American and indigenous youth at RHS. Via case management, youth advocates work one-on-one with students to help create goals to reach academic success, while adhering to, as well as promoting native culture, teachings, and values. Additionally, youth advocates work with all self-identified Native American and indigenous families in connecting them with full wrap-around services.
For more information about NAYA's program at RHS, please see https://www.reynolds.k12.or.us/rhs/native-american-youth-and-family-center-naya. Or connect with the Reynolds High School NAYA Youth Advocate, Tina St. Marie at ChristinaStMarie@partner.rsd7.net
In addition to their school support, NAYA’s Family Center in NE Portland offers a holistic set of wraparound services designed to create stability in the lives of youth and families. They provide educational services, cultural arts programming, and direct support to reduce poverty to the Portland Metropolitan Area Native American community.
For more information on the NAYA Family Center and wealth of services, please see their website: https://nayapdx.org/
Thank you, NAYA and Tina! We are grateful for your support and Work at RHS!
