BPMS PARENT NEWSLETTER
November 2020
LETTER FROM PRINCIPAL
Hello BPMS Families,
It’s hard to believe we are talking about report cards as the end of first marking period fast approaches on November 13th. Please encourage your students to reach out to their teachers and attend Office Hours if struggling in any of their classes. Student communication with teachers is of vital importance to their success and even more so in our virtual setting. Additionally, virtual tutoring is available each evening and information can be found at the link below.
Please note that on November 12th and 13th, the morning school schedule will run as normal BUT the school day will end at 11:05 am. These early dismissal days are built into the calendar to allow teachers time to grade and prepare report cards.
Finally, as announced by the AACPS Board of Education this week, virtual learning will remain intact as is and full implementation of the hybrid reopening is delayed until 2nd semester which begins Feb. 2, 2021.
Take care and stay safe!
Mrs. Shakan
