Seniors Who Need To Pick Up Diplomas?
This service is not available July 5-8 as the registrar's office is closed.
Dear "Class of 2022" Senior and Parent(s) or Guardian(s):
This letter is to serve as a reminder to get your Senior photos taken early enough to be included in the 2021-2022 Eagan High School Yearbook. It is highly recommended that you have your photos taken during the summer. You must reserve a spot for your senior portrait by submitting a photo to the yearbook staff by Monday, November 1, 2021.
For EHS students who will be attending the School of Environmental Studies (SES), the Alternative Learning Center (ALC), ABE or DCALS or enrolled in PSEO, we want to make sure you are included.
(Note: Your photographer will often submit your photo if you arrange it with them.)
Valley Images Photography is the official EHS photographer. As part of our contract they will provide a free, two-pose sitting, and will deliver a photo to the yearbook staff for those seniors who don't want to buy portraits but would like one for the yearbook. This offer is available ONLY to those students NOT using another photographer and must be scheduled by Friday, July 16, 2021.
You can make an appointment with Valley Images at: 952-423-1200.
The yearbook staff will only accept electronic photos taken by any photographer for the 2021-2022 yearbook. Please confirm with your photographer whether or not they will be submitting the photo, or if you need to submit one yourself. It is important that only one photo be submitted to eliminate any errors in correct photo selection.
To submit Senior pictures electronically, go to: https://images.jostens.com/416204122
This will take you directly to the Jostens website, the publisher of our yearbook, the Epilogue.
Sincerely,
Dr. Tara Hedlund and Dr. Polly Reikowski
EHS Assistant Principal, EHS Principal

Diffley Road School Area Safety Improvements
Due to the contractor construction calendar, there will be a closure of Diffley Road starting Monday, June 7. Detour Maps
We know that the earlier the construction starts, the better our chances will be of having construction near completion before students return to school on September 1.
Pedestrian and Bicycle Access
During construction, access to the pedestrian and bicycle routes will be provided via the route shown on the Pedestrian and Bicycle Access Map on the project website. These designated pedestrian access routes will be marked with signage and traffic control devices. Please stay within the designated pedestrian access routes. These routes may vary slightly during construction, specifically at Daniel Drive, Braddock Trail, and the Diffley Marketplace Entrance.
Free Summer Meals
All District 196 families are encouraged to apply annually for the Educational Benefits Program (formerly known as the Free and Reduced-Price Meals Program) for the upcoming school year. The annual application should be submitted even though breakfast and lunch will be provided to all students in 2021-22 at no charge through special funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. 2021-2022 Applications will be available July 19, 2021.
Educational Benefits Program directly supports your child's school with compensatory aid, which is determined by how many families apply. This critical funding provides additional teachers, additional instructional materials, math and reading support, and additional paraprofessionals and social workers.
Feel free to forward this email to anyone who you feel would benefit knowing this information.
