Teamwork
As new spring sports kick-off, we look forward to seeing their teamwork in action! Let's go, Pirates!
Scoliosis Screening
All students have the opportunity to participate in a scoliosis screener in March. If you would like your child to participate, please complete the form attached here.
If you do not complete the form, we will assume you do not want your child to participate. Extra copies will be available at the front office or you can scan and send your copy to Nurse Nancy. All forms are due to Nurse Nancy by Friday, March 4.
Attendance
- Parent notes are required following an absence within 3 days of the absence.
- Each student can have up to ten parent or principal-approved absences combined.
- Once a student meets his/her limit on absences, a doctor's note is required.
- Parents can monitor student attendance and grades through the Powerschool parent portal.
- Parent contact is made following our district procedures when a student accrues unexcused absences.
- If you have questions regarding attendance- please contact Mary Watson at watsonme@vestavia.k12.al.us.
