Uniting people to pray in the Greater Sacramento Region.
“There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism, one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all.” - Ephesians 4:4-6

Living Water Flows - Judy Trent-Whitnack
Suddenly my wrestling ceased. Only moments before I had questioned, “Why go to Staten Island? Why not just minister in South Sac?” But God’s answer “Living Water Flows” went so deep that it uprooted the doubts and questions, and replaced them with love, joy, peace and excitement!
What does “living water flows” mean to me? Water that is poured into a basin without an outlet becomes stagnant. An outlet is required to keep the water moving, clean, clear and healthy. The same is true of God’s work in our lives and in our region. As God pours in, there needs to be an outlet, an expression with which we are allowing His work in us to bless others through us.
Ultimately, I see “living water” as God’s love. Just as physically we shrivel up without water, even so emotionally and spiritually we wither in the absence of the Lord’s agape love.
So it is that in October 2015 representatives of SacramentoPRAYS had the profound privilege of taking the beautiful work God is doing in the Sacramento region, and sharing it on Staten Island, New York. The full results are not yet fully seen, and beyond the scope of what we are capable of understanding or measuring. What we did see is the supernatural impact as people bound in sin and oppressed were set free in the name of Jesus Christ. Perhaps, the most surprising part was that when I returned, I noted the magnificent blessing of a greater infill and flowing through of God’s love, in particular toward those closest to me. Hallelujah!
How is God’s love flowing through you today?
Can't Get Enough? - Tom Senter
As an intercessor we find ourselves contending for others, and at times we overlook the needs of our inner life. Thankfully, our heavenly Father directs us using circumstances, people and often our loved ones to deal with past painful experiences of unconfessed sins. God, as our loving Father, refuses to let us go forward until we are free of bondages or past hurts that the enemy has helped keep hidden for years.
Three years ago my son stopped talking to me, which ultimately cut off communication with my daughter in-law and granddaughter. This was even more hurtful because they were the only ones of my three children who live in the area. No matter how much I tried to reach out through phone or email, there was no response. Many people prayed for me and encouraged me, but I came to a point that I stopped asking because I was giving up hope. It was like a wound that kept being reinjured.
