What is Asthma?
Asthma is a condition that effects a persons breathing.
Inside the lungs there are breathing tubes, and when you have asthma some of the smaller tubes can swell and narrow making it hard to get air through the lungs.
How Can Smoking Effect Asthma?
If you smoke, and you have asthma, there can be many consequences. These include:
- Being at a greater risk for asthma flareups
- Smoking can make asthma medicine fail
- Sometimes astma flare-ups, if serious enough can send you to the ER
