ADVICE COLUMN........"DEAR MS. JUDY....."
Dear Ms. Judy,
One of my concerns is about how we are going to survive when stores are having food shortages?
Sincerely,
A Concerned 8th grader
Dearest Concerned 8th Grader,
Don't panic! Supermarket chains say there is enough supplies, they just have to get them where they are needed. And as long as customers just buy what they need and don't hoard, there will be no problems at all -- there's plenty of food in the supply chain.
Families low on supplies don't need to worry as schools will be offering free meals for pick up. Please read below for more info. Stay positive and healthy!
Sincerely,
Ms. Judy
WHAT: Free meals for all CPS students outside of all CPS school locations.
WHEN:
- Beginning Tuesday, March 17 through the closure, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m, Monday through Friday.
- ALL CPS district schools will offer free meals for students.
- Select charter school locations will also offer meals; a link to those locations can be found here.
- Families can pick up meals outside of their nearest CPS school - they DO NOT need to pick up meals at their school of attendance.

WORLD & COMMUNITY NEWS
"Who Will Win?
Mr. Donlin
"If I was asked who would win a month ago, I would have said Elizabeth Warren. But now, I predict Joe Biden will be the nominee.
Alaina
"I think Joe Biden is going to be the Democratic Party candidate, just because of what the numbers show. And then for the general election, I don’t like to focus on the negative, so I think Biden will win against Trump."
Mr. Moreno
"My prediction is Joe Biden. The entire democratic establishment is pushing for him and pushing out Bernie, and in 2016, 60% of people didn’t go out and vote so I think that 60% will bring Biden to presidency this year."
Minh
"I think Joe Biden is going to win the Democratic Candidate because most democrats think Bernie’s views are too radical and too socialist and then Trump is going to win the general election. I’m not very happy about either of those things happening."
